Gulabin Lodge is a family run hostel (VisitScotland Four Star) providing self-catering holiday accommodation and activity breaks for individuals, families and groups all the year round.  Gulabin House is a beautiful house available for exclusive use sleeping 12 people in five bedrooms

Gulabin Lodge

Gulabin Lodge has a spectacular setting in the Spittal of Glenshee at the foot of Ben Gulabin, (2843 feet) in its own grounds of 1.5 acres. With stunning views of the Glenshee mountains it is an ideal location for exploring Perthshire and the Cairngorms National Park and for outdoor activities.  Gulabin Lodge is ideal for individuals, couples, families and groups as holiday accommodation  .  The Outdoor Centre also offers a wide range of outdoor activities and skills training  for groups and gatherings, stag and hen parties, companies, schools and other organisations.

Gulabin House

Gulabin House is a beautifully designed modern building with fantastic features. The lounge is open plan with a 60 inch flat screen TV, a feature swedish log burning stove (16kw) and a spiral staircase to the upper level. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances including instant hot water so no kettles. There is a bathroom downstairs, and a further family bathroom upstairs and 2 ensuite bedrooms. In total there are 5 bedrooms sleeping 12 in total (4 upstairs/1 downstairs). Underfloor heating provides the heating on the lower level with standard radiators on the upper level.

Outdoor activities all the year round

For the outdoor enthusiast, we have access to the Southern Cairngorms from our back door. For the walker, many Munros are easily accessible from the lodge and the Cateran Trail is a short drive away. For kayakers & canoeists there is an abundance of challenging rivers to explore all year round, and for the skier, Gulabin  Lodge is the closest accommodation to the Glenshee ski slopes. Gulabin Lodge is a great base for any adventure. Glenshee Ski Centre

During the winter months we operate Glenshee Snow Sports ski school based at the Glenshee Ski Centre.  Gulabin Lodge is the perfect base for winter ski-ing and we have a well equipped ski and board hire facility on site.
